Christiana Stich Christiana Stich has been a yoga practitioner since 1995, when she enrolled in her first class in Tokyo, Japan. She noticed the calm, ease and reduced stress that she began to find in her body and mind as a result of practicing asanas (postures/body movements), pranayama (breath work) and meditation. Since then she has expanded her practice through personal self-study and has studied under master instructors including Rod Stryker, Donna Farhi, Shiva Rea, Ramanand Patel, Rodney Yee and Judith Lasater.Christiana incorporates a practical, fun approach to yoga instruction, focusing on proper posture and alignment for increased flexibility, strength and endurance. She encourages students of all ages and abilities to allow the practice of yoga to unfold and reveal its beauty and peace in their own way. Christiana's goal for students revolves around developing greater strength, flexibility and a calmer, more peaceful mind. She places an important emphasis on moving with the breath as well as an awareness of physical alignment that incorporates a body/mind/spirit connection. |

Tatyana Wagner The flame of yoga was ignited in Tatyana eight years ago when she started practicing Iyengar yoga. The first discovery she made was a sense of liberation that comes with practice. Then there were many other discoveries: connection with others, connection with oneself, and the development of health, inner peace, courage and strength. Her yoga journey brought her to the Dallas Yoga Center, where she has studied with David Sunshine and other wonderful teachers and where eventually she went through a teacher-training program. She deepens her practice by attending classes with George Purvis, Paula Weithman and by taking workshops with her beloved Patricia Walden. She is grateful to all her teachers for the imprints that each of them has left in her heart. Her teaching is inspired by the Iyengar and Vinyasa styles. Tatyana believes that it is never too late to discover the benefits of yoga. All you have to do is come to the studio and step on your mat. |
